DOMINIKA FEDKO-WOJS
BORN 1992
Dominika Fedko-Wójs, a young generation artist associated with the Krakow environment, graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow. She works professionally as a graphic designer, serving as Senior Graphic Designer and Design Lead in the branding team. In private, she is a mother two children. Her work encompasses a wide range of artistic forms, from painting, through graphic design, to animation. The artist creates images that combine symbolism, metaphysics, and maximalism.
In her work, there are several cycles that are united by the desire to capture subtle, metaphysical experiences. In the cycles "Synthesis" and "Abstracts", the artist worked in accordance with Witkacy's theory of Pure Form , experimenting with form and metaphysical experiences. From the oldest works, which were the beginning of her painting path, through experimental paintings, to the emotional works in the "Miracles" cycle. Her latest cycle "Femina" is an attempt to capture universal female experiences, combining them with dreamlike visions and metaphysics. These works are full of symbolism, emotions and spiritual reflections, being a testimony to her artistic path, in which painting becomes a carrier of deep experiences.
